Abstract

Our facility continuously seeks to promote improvements in global patient health by providing patient-centered care which focuses on controlling hypertensive chronic disease through the utilization of multidisciplinary and systemic process improvement, standardized nursing documentation, and staff education which is derived from the High Reliability Organizational and Lean Six Sigma improvement principles and processes.

Biography

Ms. Collette-Graham graduated from Rhode Island College in 1991 with a BS in management. In 1993, she earned a MBA in International Business from Johnson and Wales University.  After a twenty-two year finance career, she returned to Rhode Island College to complete her BSN in 2012. She graduated with an MSN from Grand Canyon University in 2018 and is five classes from DNP completion at Liberty University.   Her first poster on improving employee engagement was part of the 2023 ANCC conference poster galleria. Today’s oral presentation, which is from her second collaboratively approved poster, won best poster at the 8th Edition of the 2024 Nursing World Conference.
